MEMPHIS by FLOOR KNAAPEN

Commissioned by Trend Compass, Memphis was created by design editor, stylist and photographer Floor Knaapen – to show the strong trend inspired by the designs from Memphis Milano.
To celebrate this style, Knaapen collected pieces of furniture from our time, showing some great works by: Memphis Milano, Wrong for Hay, Raf Simons for Kvadrat, Studio Job for Moooi, Maarten Baas, Molteni, Nathalie du Pasquier, Bertjan Pot for Golran, Patricia Urquiola for Moroso, Daphna Laurens, Os and Oos, Sigrid Calon, Tim Colmant, Mae Engelgeer, Moooi and many more.

Together, the team has realized not only a collection of products for dining, but also an complete sojourn through the experiential activity of eating – a contemporary concept of multidisciplinary design.

CUBES – LERNERT & SANDER for DE VOLKSKRANT

Based in Amsterdam, the artists and filmmakers Lernert & Sander have been known for their high-conceptual art films, eye-catching installations and keen fashion aesthetic. Driven by their cheeky sense of humour, the duo’s simple yet stunning approach has earned the duo numerous awards, international accolades and industry-wide recognition.
“Cubes” project was commissioned by the dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. Made for a special documentary photography issue about food, they transformed 98 unprocessed foods into extremely precise 2.5cm cubes, aligned on a staggered grid.

BROSTE COPENHAGEN CAMPAIGN

Photographer Line Klein and stylist Nathalie Schwer put together this beautifully experimental shoot for Broste’s SS 2014 collection.
They used splashes of color over a monochrome background, very minimalistic elements – such as raw materials, and food – adding life to the scandinavian perspective concept.
