THE COCOON SERIES by E. E. McCollum

The nude figure enshrouded in a body cocoon is both sculptural and transformed. The Washington-based photographer E.E. McCollum discovered the body cocoon in 2011 and have used it as part of an on-going project since then.
“I love the mystery of these images, the way the material distorts our perception of the body, the layers of the images.” he added.
