Lithuanian born – Aleksandra Kingo – is a London-based photographer specialised in fashion and still life photography. She’s concentrating on conceptual narratives, set design and art direction. Her work is feminine, a bit awkward and full of irony – creating any kind of world through her medium.
Most of her work is based around people and their identities and she gains a lot inspiration from everyday life stories as well as popular culture.
Photographer Line Klein and stylist Nathalie Schwer put together this beautifully experimental shoot for Broste’s SS 2014 collection.
They used splashes of color over a monochrome background, very minimalistic elements – such as raw materials, and food – adding life to the scandinavian perspective concept.
